ABOUT THE CLASS
A "Sound Bath Meditation" is all about energy, frequency & vibration. It is a very therapeutic form of meditation because you’re literally being "bathed" in sound waves. As these sound waves wash over your body, they can lead you out of the beta and into an alpha & theta brainwave state.
Sound vibrations help shift your brain into a calmer state and make it easier for you to experience a deeper meditation. This deep meditative state leads to profound relaxation & healing. Sound meditation is wonderful for all types of meditators but it is especially good for beginners because if you’ve ever attempted to meditate, you’ll know that the second you try not to think about stuff, is when your brain decides to think about everything!
ABOUT ANTHONY PROFETA
Anthony Profeta is a medical-student-turned-meditation/mindfulness-teacher whose knowledge of meditation stems from 17+ years of study and practice. His first introduction into a formal method was back in the year 2000, through the Kriya Yoga Tradition but his passion for meditation as lead him around the world studying many various techniques in monasteries & meditation centers of the US, Nepal, & India.
